Early-stage mineral exploration generally involves a different environmental footprint than mine development, but field activities can still affect land, vegetation, water, wildlife and other environmental values.

BARIN Mineral considers environmental conditions and potential disturbance when planning exploration activities and seeks to use practical approaches appropriate to the nature and scale of the work.

Sampling locations and methods should be selected with consideration for the geological objective, site conditions, safety, environmental sensitivity and applicable requirements.

Where practical, field teams should minimize unnecessary vegetation disturbance, manage excavated material appropriately and leave sampling locations in a stable condition after work is completed.

Applicable Requirements.

Mineral exploration in British Columbia is subject to applicable environmental, land-use, permitting and reclamation requirements.

The regulatory requirements applicable to an exploration program depend on the location, nature and intensity of proposed activities.

Mechanized exploration activities may require authorization under the Mines Act, including an approved Notice of Work, together with other project-specific authorizations.

BARIN Mineral is responsible for understanding and complying with requirements applicable to its exploration activities and for obtaining required authorizations before undertaking activities that require them.

FIELD CONDITIONS

Environmental conditions can also affect field safety.

Terrain, weather, wildfire conditions, wildlife, water crossings, remote access and changing ground conditions should be considered when planning and conducting exploration activities.
